Arrival in Jhelum

I realised the meaning of 'mixed feelings' when I arrived in Jhelum from Lahore. I was happy to be back, to have home-cooked meals which I missed for the last nine years, to be able to talk with my dad who talks very short on telephone, to be able to enjoy all homely comforts and to spend time with my twin brothers whose picture remained on my study table all the time.

I was sad to leave Lahore. I had tears in my eyes when I left Lahore and hit the motorway. Lahore gave me everything. It helped me discover myself. I completed my education from here. I earned money while doing my favourite job i.e. the media. I made a lot of good friends here. I also learnt to make friends and socialise with people. I used to be a very lonely guy but not any more. People at Daily Times were from diverse backgrounds having one thing in common which was respecting the other people.
