How powerful is 30 bore.

This is a page from the post mortem report in one the cases I am dealing with. The deceased was done to death by an assailant armed with a 30 bore pistol. The bullet entered from outside the arm and exited from inside and again entered the body near ribs. It exited from near the hip, killing the deceased.
