Writer's Block

I have not posted on blog for months. Today got a message from Nomi, who asked me why I am absent from my blog. Apparently, my reading faculty has been limited to stale law books. I have re-started reading fiction and other good stuff. I hope I will be regular on the blog from now onwards.
Regards,
Hamid Rashid Gondal.

  1. Thanks,
I just read Paulo Cohelo's "The Alchemist". I have been an ardent reader since ages but don't know why I missed Paulo. I wish I had read this book 20 years earlier. Now I am going to order more of his books.
    Best,

  2. Its a very good book for people wanting to develop a taste in philosophy. Although many critiques criticize Paulo for writing fiction under the garb of philosophy, but they are unable to reduce his readership. I will recommend you read Will Durant after Paulo. Durant writes in a very easy manner.

  4. History of Civilisation can be a very good starter. Durant has written essays on various important questions that often disturb young minds.
