Encourager

While attending a dinner hosted by the Jhelum District Bar Association, I came across a senior lawyer, whom I knew since my childhood, and addressed him as uncle.
He gave me a smile, saying, “We are no more uncle and nephew. We are colleagues now.” He told me to address him with his name.

His gesture made me little nervous though it was very encouraging.

Just two days ago. I addressed a ‘very’ senior lawyer as “Raja Sahib” while he was sitting among five other people. He told me that he is my uncle and I should address him as uncle.
