Getting rid of tickers from TV screen

Most of our private news channels are unbearable for viewers’ senses. There are too much screen distractions, including tickers (moving text at the bottom of the screen), headers, and the channel’s normal visuals.
These channels can become a little bearable if we paste some masking tape on the bottom of the television screen to hide the tickers. Doing it will reduce the distractions to a great deal. I have never seen western channels abusing the ticker facility with such a dedication like we Pakistanis do.

Birth of a joke

No one knows who writes jokes. All the joke books are compiled and not written by people. Like folklores, jokes are authorless. While chatting with a lawyer, a question came into my mind as what is stone-age in the context of the subcontinent. The lawyer waited for some moments, looking in the sky. He said stone-age is the time when people cleaned their butts with stones after defecating in the fields.
