The world's top secret keepers not lured by $25m

Osama’s wife has told Pakistani army officials that her family was living in the Abbotabad compound since 2005. The only credit Pakistan can take in the most shameful incident in its history is that: we did keep a secret really well. All those who knew about Osama’s presence in Pakistan deserve appreciation as they kept mum despite the huge amount of prize money ($25million) on the head of the Al Qaeda chief. Osama rightly opted pashtuns host. Had he opted any other province, his host would have handed him to the US with his hands tied.

  1. It's interesting to read your perspective, as that of someone who lives (from my perspective) "there." Of course, to you, my "here" is your "there." So, I appreciate your posts and views on this.

There is no doubt that September 11, 2001 was a life-altering event for many. I remember exactly what I was doing and what I was feeling that day. Even now, almost 10 years later, my eyes water as I revisit that horrific day.

Although I do not expect the world to agree, or even tolerate, our political views, the attack on that day was completely uncalled for. In the end, justice was served. I will leave it to other, more intelligent people to argue about sovereignty and whether the methods were appropriate.

Although death is not a cause for rejoicing, there is no doubt that some deaths are well deserved, even if served cold.
