Guard of honour by kids

I visited my uncle’s grave this Sunday in Rawalpindi’s Race Course Graveyard. I spotted this grave near my uncle’s. Some little child (probably nephew or niece) of the captain, who embraced martyrdom in Swat operation, had installed small Pakistani flags on the grave. Perhaps the children played “guard of honour” on the grave.
When we buried our uncle in the martyr section of the graveyard, only less than a quarter of the section was occupied by graves. Now we have to walk a lot to reach the uncle’s grave. Considering our appetite for the war on terror, it is likely that we may need to open another section for martyrs.

Iran, Saudi Arabia implementing Jinnah's quote

The real interpretation of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah’s quote that “Pakistan will be a laboratory for Islam where we can experiment Islam in its true sense,” has been done by Iran and Saudi Arabia.
The two countries have been funding seminaries and sectarian think tanks in Pakistan, extensively. If one mosque in town preaches the version of Islam professed by Iran the second mosque/seminary preaches the Saudi Arabic version of Islam.
Tehran and Jeddah have been using this labortary of Pakistan extensively in all sort of experiments ranging from recruiting our children for notorious Jihad, bomb blasts outside religious places and target killing of notable people of one sect by the heaven-mongers of the other sect.
We are so naive that we let our children to be used as war fodder by Iran and Saudi Arabia. During Iraq-Iran war, our madrassas and seminaries were producing two type of mercenraeis. One wanted to reach heaven by fighting on Iraq’s side and the second wanted paradise by fighting for Iran. In a sense, our madrassas fought the Iran-Iraq proxy was in Pakistan.
